We'd like to anonymize (or delete) older data (actuals, tasks, assignments) older than 10 years.
I've just got known there is a special functionality for "Anonymization" of resource data vailable in Clarity 15.4
I was not able to find if such a time setting can be used for anonymization... I was not able to find anything relevant for deletion also. Does someone has any experience with such thing?
The GDPR job is coming from a resource point of view and mostly just masks PII data.
It only runs on resources flagged and anonymises all their data across the schema but does not delete it. (Very thorough)
Targeting a date range is a lot more complex, there was a third party "archive" tool which can do this.
Why are you doing this though?
If you scroll down the docops you get to the list of attributes/fields that can be replaced with an encoded serialized number.
The related "objects" do not have a date related to those values either.
See below.actuals, tasks, assignments are not among them.
Out of the box it is also hard to delete those, because of the relations or links in the database between the data.
CA PPM does not have an archiving or a cleanup utility.
As Andrew points out there has been at least one third party tool which does the archiving in a controlled manner.
Hmm, I also got known from CA that "CA PPM does not have an archiving or a cleanup utility" as Urmas said.
However can you please tell me the name of the 3rd party tool?

You'd have to check in with them whether it's still being sold, I don't think CA ever certified it.
