  • 1.  PLEX is supported in Windows 10

    Hello,

     

    We heard that CA plans to certify Plex with Windows 10 starting in January of 2016.

     

    PLEX r7.0 will support Windows 10, right? Please tell me when PLEX r7.0 isn't planning to support Windows 10.

    Thanks for asking this question. Currently there is no CA PLEX announcement available for Windows 10 Support. I expect it will be ready soonest,but CA PLEX 7.0 is

    End of Service beginning January 15, 2016. Please see support.ca.com/phpdocs/7/258/258-7_0-eos-announcement.pdf

    The current version is CA Plex 7.2,please see support.ca.com/phpdocs/7/258/258_72_GAAnnouncement.pdf

    Thank you for the information. Of course we know this information.

     

    Is Windows 10 not supported in Plex r7.1 and r7.2?
    We want Plex r7.2 to support Windows 10. Many Plex users in Japan hope it.
    Would you tell me about that if there is any information?

    Hi Hifumi,

    CA PLEX 7.2.1 is the only certified Version for Windows 10 ( 32 and 64 Bit ). Please see SAP Portal Services

    Dear Hifumi,

    I have reviewed this with the Product Manager and of now we don’t have any plans of doing Windows 10 certification for Plex 7.2.   Please let me know what's the reason for not upgrade to PLEX 7.2.1

    Hi Thomas,

     

    Not all of Japan's Plex users can upgrade to the Plex r7.21.
    Some of them have public agencies as customer. In public agencies of Japan are set to use the period of application, they will not be able to freely upgrade the Plex model. Some of them want to use Visual studio 2005.
    Therefore we hope the Windows 10 test at the Plex r7.2.
