  • 1.  Edit CA Ldap attributes from CA API Gateway

    Hello,

As part of a service that i'm creating, i need to edit LDAP attribute.

I know that there isn't out of the box assertion that does that, but maybe there is a different way to do that.

Do you have an idea of a good way to do this?

    Thank you

    Tal,

Good evening. The ability for the Gateway to write to an LDAP server is not currently available with the default assertions and is being tracked as a feature request (FR-338).

As a note: the API Portal has some extended assertions that will allow for limited functionality of LDAP writing as part of its user update story. These assertions are not designed to be used outside of the standard use cases and functions of the API Portal.

    Sincerely,

    Good evening,

Version 9.3 of the gateway includes the Write LDAP assertion. Instructions on the usage is here: Write LDAP Assertion - CA API Gateway - 9.3 - CA Technologies Documentation
