Just though I would share a simple way to monitor the UIM/Nimsoft EventAdmin model for incoming traps. This simple Spectrum Watch performs a DELTA on the SBGWtrapEvents attr (ie on the UIM EventAdmin) for 0 over 5 minutes. Should traps stop flowing into Spectrum from UIM for over 5 minutes, an alarm will be generated. From there you can also use SANM to send an email notification as well.

Based on the configuration above, this Watch will only be applied to the "UIM" EventAdmin model when Enabled.
