Gang,
Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that CA Live API Creator 3.2 is now available - and it's got some GREAT new updates! Let's get started.....
- Cassandra: you can now connect to Cassandra as a data source
- Code Examples: You can now access and insert code examples from the code editor in API Creator (one of the modules in CA Live API Creator) to illustrate common patterns. You can see a list of those here.
- JBoss and IBM Webshere: You can now install CA Live API Creator on JBoss/Wildfly and IBM WebSphere application servers, extending the platform reach.
- Docker Container: You can now run CA Live API Creator as a Docker Container in a Docker Container Cluster. This means you can do some pretty cool things - like use a Docker compose sample file to configure and run multiple Docker containers for CA Live API Creator and the admin database to startup on a single command.
As always, there's a ton of under the hood updates/improvements, including some enhancements to how we handle both CSV and Salesforce data sources, some pretty cool enhancements to Data Explorer, and support for external logging.
CA Live API Creator also continues to be the only automated, low-code microservices development solution on the market today, and these enhancements strengthen those capabilities - you can learn more at ca.com/microservices.
Bottom line, a pretty solid update, and worth checking out. If you haven't had a chance to check out CA Live API Creator yet, you can click here to go download your trial. You'll be glad you did.
