  • 1.  Ca Service Catalog - Lookup fields work only in the Form Designer

    Team,
    I have a strange issue I never faced before. 

    In a fresh installation of CA Service Catalog 17.3, the Lookup fields work correctly only in the Form Designer.

    In the form designer, I can open a search dialog for the lookup, search for the record and the record is correctly filled back to the Lookup field. If I try the same form in the service request, the last step doesn't work - the record is not filled back to the lookup field and the lookup remains blank...

    There is no error in the log, I've tried to increase the log level, but still nothing interesting...

    Any ideas, experiences?

    Hi Jakub,

    Try clearing your browser cache and installing the latest RU patch (RU1) and see if this helps?

    Hi Brian,
    thank you for the tip - I didn't know there is a Catalog cumfix already. 

    I've found that the problem is only in IE11 - Chrome and Edge are both OK. There is an error message in the IE Console (some unsupported JavaScript code (Object doesn't support property or method 'StartsWith'). I'll try the fix.

    I have a CA Support statement that this should be solved in the RU2 which should be available sometimes these days.
