TIBCO provides the Jaspersoft platform upon which CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server is built. TIBCO has announced that extended support for JasperReports Server 7.1.x will reach its end-of-service on November 23rd, 2021.
After November 23rd, 2021, Broadcom will no longer provide any fixes, patches, service packs, updates, upgrades, programmatic changes, new features, or coverage for updated or new operating systems, databases, browsers, or any additional components for CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server 7.1.x.
Customers can continue to contact Broadcom Support (Level 1) after November 23rd, 2021, for basic installation, administration, configuration, usage, and troubleshooting of CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server 7.1.x on an "as is" basis if installed in conjunction with a still-supported Clarity version. If a workaround cannot be determined, the customer understands that their problem will be deemed "irresolvable." Customers do NOT need to make any specific request in order to receive this Level 1 Support beyond November 30th, 2021. Extended Support contracts are not specifically available for CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server 7.1.x.
Broadcom announced the general availability of the CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server 7.8 on March 15th, 2021.
Clarity SaaS customers have been informed, via Broadcom Service Status, when their CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server will be upgraded
For our On-Premise customers, we encourage you to plan for an upgrade to the latest version as soon as possible, so you can take full advantage of the features and enhancements this release has to offer.
