  • 1.  send email notification to outlook

    Hi

    I have configure email settings in CSA System tab , adding host name and a default sender all is well.

    Issue
    at times it does send emails to other users to some it does not,
    I tried to check and compare the settings in outlook but I couldn't find anything different.

    I wish to know if there are any other things that I might need to check in order for all resources receive their notifications through email.

    HI Sibusiso

    Here are some ideas: 
    Make sure the users have enabled Email notifications in their Home - Account Settings - Notifications
    Make sure they didn't mark the emails as Junk Mail
    Check in Organizer - Notifications to see if the notification was sent
    Try setting up another email in Clarity and see if you receive it there

    Hi 

    From the Organizer they receive the notification
    and all is selected from notifications in account settings
    What I have noticed is that team members who receive the emails they did not update their outlook all those with the updated version they do not receive mails
    I wish to know if there are any supported versions of outlook or not

    Clarity doesn't rely on specific email client, can you ask your email administrator to see if they are stuck in the email server.

    hi 

    After consulting with our IT Admin I do get the emails now but they come from this mail: username@mailserver.com
    we did set it up in the mail server section in PPM CSA admin we made the default sender to ppm@xxxxxx.co.za but we receive mails from this username
    is there any settings we can do to change the sender ?

    Hi 

    We did find that we were using the wrong hostname now it is working fine.
    regarding username@mailserver.com it only do it when the notification comes from process, so we have changed the process admin user's email address from username@mailserver.com to the default senders email address (ppm@xxxxxx.co.za) .
