Jaspersoft report size

In Jaspersoft studio i created a report that gets project information.

The query in this report is retrieving the information based on a parameter that filters the projectid.

So only 1 row is returned from the query.

For some strange reason, the size of the report goes to 41Mb which causes Jaspersoft studio to crash.

 

Anyone can explain this behavior ?

I hope all is well.

 

Do you have any tables, or are you passing the parameter value to some sub-reports or graph?

 

I noticed that Jaspersoft (on the CA PPM integration) doesn't handle parameters and queries very well and can end  up in an eternal loop if the wrong data type is used or if there you have passed the parameter in a wrong way.
