Hi Silvio,
Tibco, the original producer of JasperReports Server 7.1.1 is supporting several Windows Versions
(https://docs.tibco.com/pub/js-rptsrvr-amxbpm/7.1.1/TIB_js-rptsrvr-amxbpm_7.1.1_relnotes.pdf).
Why is Broadcom not supporting it for their CABI JasperReport Server 7.1.1? It can be no technical reason, or?
We have several customers running CABI on Windows. With CABI 7.1.1.1 they now will be obliged to change to Linux.
How can I explain that to the affected customers?
BTW: Actual version at Tibco is 7.8.0 still supporting Windows.
Best regards
Gregor

Hi Matthew,
The CABI 7.1.1 is not supported on the Windows platform, even though you are able to install it.
But CABI 7.1.1.1 (7.1.1 SP1) no longer allows installing on the Windows platform. CABI 7.1.1 SP1 can be download from Spectrum 20.2.5 release.

Is it supported to upgrade a 6.4.3 Jasperserver on Windows 2012 to Jasper 7.1.1.1? The documentation suggests no (however in the same document mentions a windows setup.bat)
I have upgraded my test jasperserver and it upgrades fine - what am i missing?
cheers
Matt
