It's very straight forward.
Nothing needs to be done with the database. You already have the replicated pair in your data layer. Additional nodes will only be processing nodes.
Adding an additional processing node simply means configuring the node in the ssgconfig menu after the system settings have been configured: Option 2) Display Layer7 API Gateway configuration menu, Option 3) Configure the Layer7 API Gateway, and point it to the primary and secondary database nodes. Basically what you did when configuring the second node during the initial deployment. You will need the cluster passphrase for the node to be able to decrypt the secrets from the database.

Subject: Scaling nodes from 2 to 4 - design considerations
Hi,
We are planning to scale our g/w cluster 9.4 , currently running 2 nodes with mysql master/slave replication.
Due to increase in work loads, more client requests would be processed. A need to expand horizontally.
I havent seen any documentation on how extra nodes could be added to expand it to 4 and what mysql replication techniques could be used.
Is there any 9.4 or v10 document available on how to achieve this?
thanks,
Aditya
