  • 1.  Documentation Sign Off & Storage in Clarity

    We currently track sign offs of documentation for a project in an Excel spreadsheet.  Some documents can have upwards of 10 to 20 people who need to sign off.  An email confirmation is required and a copy is saved to a SharePoint site.  We are hoping to find a way to store the sign offs in Clarity for each document.  We are aware of the documentation modules but not an approval tracking module. 

    Has anyone created a process or a new module that would track it?  We are currently in Classic but willing to consider the Modern UX as we are moving that further and further.

    Hi Todd,

    You are correct, there is no OOTB document module to allow tracking or alerts. But the requirement you described is possible with some wiggle room to make based on the document sign off where we can utilize action items and processes(approvals and notifications).

    Its a simple procedure to use an object and use the attachment attribute towards the approvals via a process where the 10 or 20 people can belong to a group and assign each level within your approval methodology.
