    Hi ,

Whenever we receive the max restarts reached for nas , udm manager , ems probes ,  please let us know the immediate steps to be taken to make these probes to work properly .

Is there any common steps for all these probes whenever max restarts reached error is found in the logs ?

    Please explain !!

    Regards

If all of these are down at the same time it is usually because there is a problem with the data_engine probe or the back end database.
If the data_engine probe is red or down these probes all fail to start as they can not get a connection string from the data_engine to make their connection to the database.

Usually checking the data_engine loglevel 3 or higher logs will provide some insight into what is happening with the database so that you can correct it then restart the primary hub and have all of the probes startup correctly.

    Hi ,

Not all the probes at a time , what exactly my question is if max restarts reached for nas means - > what needed to be checked ? How to resolve that ?

    Hi

There could be different scenarios where nas did not start up and nas / alarm_enrichment level 5 logs could give additional information on the reason

One example is that nas probe has dependency on alarm_enrichment probe so if thats not started nas will not start up

max restarts, means that the probe would not start and the maximum number of retries was reached, that's it, it means nothing more beyond that. It is up to you to do the troubleshooting to discover why it is happening, and for that you may want to use all the recommendations we have been giving you. Alternatively if you find something better please share.
