Database testing with RAC enabled

Hi All,

Currently we are using Oracle 12c r1 for AUTOMIC metadata with AE 12.2.0. DB team is planning to implement the RAC (real application cluster) feature to bring it to zero downtime during patching activities for the DB. 

1) Do we need to do any configuration changes in ini files if the metadata DB is RAC enabled?
2)  CP's/WP's/Agents including DB service and database agents will not be effected with RAC enabled and bouncing the services are not needed. Is this correct?

Nevertheless: Did you already check the documentation? In the document "Preparing the AE database" is a scenario titled RAC. You should also set LAST_USE=0 in UC_SYSTEM_SETTINGS. By the way: Automic metadata is an uncommon name - at least for me.
