  • 1.  Is it possible to fetch the Formatted ID when using an RSS Query Feed?

    Posted Feb 01, 2018 03:16 PM

    Hi,

When I perform an RSS Query, it returns four fields:

    • NAME
    • LAST UPDATED DATE
    • OWNER
    • DESCRIPTION

Is it possible to return the Formatted ID as well?  I was hoping I could slip in &fetch=FormattedID into the URL and it would appear in the query results.  I tried and failed.  Thoughts?

WSAPI - Query Results as RSS 2.0 Feeds example:

    20michael.addington@bankofamerica.com))&order=Priority,Severity" rel="nofollow" style="color: #0000DD; background-color: #E7E7E7; border: 1px; text-decoration: none; font-size: medium" target="_blank">https://rally1.rallydev.com/slm/webservice/v2.0/rss/defect?title=My Open Defects&query=(querygoes here)&order=Priority,Severity

    Thanks in advance,

    Michael A.

    Hi Michael,

Unfortunately there isn't a way to add the formatted ID to the RSS feed. We do have an Idea Manager at https://ideas.rallydev.com where you could add this idea if you'd like it to be considered for future Agile Central development.

If you have other questions or would like more info, please let me know.

Can you just make it a SPIKE and get me a story points estimate?    Totally Kidding.
