How to call windows ( deploy.bat) file from CARA.

I have written (deploy.bat ) file in my windows machine. Locally thorugh command prompt i tested it is working.

 

But now I planned to call this deploy.bat file from CA Release automation.

Please let me know which action I need to use it to call my deploy.bat file.

Hi Pradeep,

 

You can call batch file using "Run Command Line" action type.

Set batch file with full path to [Command Line String] at least.

Or, you can set batch filename to [Command Line String] and folder placed the batch to [Work Directory].

 

The batch file will run by user account who run [Nolio Agent] service. Default is local system account in Windows environment case. 

If you face permission problem, please try to set proper credential to run the batch in [Settings] tab of action defenition.
