Hi Sunil,

 

We support Sybase. With any other SAP flavor, we did not certify. However, if the ODBC driver is conformant, then it should work.

In general we are using specific Sybase ODBC drivers for Sybase database?  Similarly for all the database , there will be specific drivers which are compatible to all flavors of database . For example Oracle has its own ODBC driver , SQL Server has its own ODBC drivers.

 

The confusion here is , Is that there is anything which should be compatible with the databases apart from the drivers?

If the ODBC driver is conformant (works), then you will be able to use Datamaker without restrictions.
