We have USS and EEM sharing same server with a remote database for USS. We are planning to uninstall USS and install on a new application server. Can I use the same USS_MDB databse or should I delete it and do a fresh installation of USS
from Paul Coccimiglio (CA) to Everyone:
@Sharath - personally, I would recommemd creating a new DB for the fresh USS install
from sharath to Everyone:
@Paul. Thanks
from sharath to Everyone:
We will go Live with Service Mgt very soon, but we need to perform a load test. Currently we are using Cisco product where the avg order per day is 300
from sharath to Everyone:
Im waiting if I can get a suggestion to my question...
from Rajeev Kumar (CA) to Everyone:
@Sharat - What was the question surrounding performance ?
from sharath to Everyone:
Today, we use the other catalog product where we avg 300 orders placed /day. We will go live with USS so want to perfrom the Load testings. Looking if you can recommand us to test this
from Rajeev Kumar (CA) to Everyone:
@Sharat - It will be good to perform a performance test in your local environment. Here is a document that captures results from development performance lab - http://www.ca.com/us/support/ca-support-online/support-by-product/ca-service-management.aspx.
from sharath to Everyone:
@Rajeev, thanks will check it up. Looks its a schedule maintenance now.. I will check it later.
from sharath to Everyone:
Thanks All !

I have SD, SC, USS and EEM installed and integrated. When I integrate EEM with Active Directory the new users are created automaticaly in USS as well as in the Service Desk?
from Paul Coccimiglio (CA) to Everyone:
@Eduardo - do you also have CA SDM integrated with EEM?
from Eduardo Rodrigues to Everyone:
@Paul - Yes. I have.
from Paul Coccimiglio (CA) to Everyone:
@Eduardo - have you also done a LDAP Import from CA SDM?
from Eduardo Rodrigues to Everyone:
@Paul - No. I didn´t do this because in SDM 12.9 the users are created automaticaly. I want to know if it´s happen with USS to.
from Rajeev Kumar (CA) to Everyone:
@Eduardo - The behavior of SDM 12.9, to create a user at the first login, works in 14.1 as well. USS has the same behavior.
from Eduardo Rodrigues to Everyone:
@Rajeev - Ok. Very good. Thks
from Celso to Everyone:
I have been asked to create a query for contacts with special handling
from Celso to Everyone:
has anyone tried that?
from Paul Coccimiglio (CA) to Everyone:
@Celso - are you referring to a DB query that will tell you which contacts have special handling?
from Andrea Holmes to Everyone:
@Celso, I have
from Celso to Everyone:

from Andrea Holmes to Everyone:
@Celso, (cnthandling_list.special_handling.sym in ( 'Restrict Close' ))
from Andrea Holmes to Everyone:
@Celso, that's from within SDM of course
from Celso to Everyone:
@Andrea thanks! let me try that
from Celso to Everyone:
