  • 1.  Automic event is getting executed many times at same time

    Hi All,

     

    I am facing some issue while executing Automic Time event. I am executing this with a time interval of 15 mins and from that event I am executing some Automic windows job, which internally calling BATCH files. It is working properly for most of the time in a 24hrs span. But sometimes the event is getting executed repeatedly at a single time. PFA for reference. Could not understand why such case is happening. Your suggestion/solution will be highly appreciated.

    Hi Arnab,

     

    is it possible that you export the event? did this happen only once at the time your PNG shows or did this happen more often ?

    Hi Arnab,

     

    Which version of the Automation Engine do you use ?

     

    Did you check in the Release notes ? Maybe you are experiencing a bug that was already fixed.

     

    Best way to proceed if you wish this issue to be investigated would be to open an incident ticket. In which case, please make sure to provide :

     

    • an xml export of the event
    • a copy of all WP logs from the time of the issue
    • The RunID of the EVNT and its child tasks

    I am using Automic version 11.2.0. 

    Could you please share if there is any ServiceNow link for creating ticket and post my issue?

    I have less idea about Release note. Can you please help me out how to find details about the Event issue in release note?

    Hello Arnab,

     

     

    The link to Release Notes is here: Automic Download Center - Release Notes 

     

    Version 11.2.0 is pretty old, so usually the recommendation is to update to the latest available service pack to avoid running into issues that have already been fixed. It would be Automation Engine version 11.2.8 HF2 in your case.

    Hi @Antoine

     

    We have the same issue with Events and we are already on 11.2.9 and the problem is still not fixed. I have reported this to Support sveral time, so far without any solution.
