timesheet Approval emails

Hi,
We are running Clarity PPM 13.2 version.
Even though I am not the approver​ of timesheets, I get notifications like below continually:

This action item has been assigned to you: Action Item: Approve Timesheet for KELLY, Brendan PMDescription: Please review the hours submitted. If you do not agree with the hours submitted please set the status of this Action Item to Return, otherwise set the status to Approve.Creator: KELLY, BrendanObject Name: Timesheet for KELLY, Brendan; 12/08/19-19/08/19; 40 hours

I have gone to Account Settings> and unchecked Action Items from the list, but I am still getting these.
I am the admin in Clarity also.
Is there another place where I can turn these notifications off?

OK, First question.... How do you have this setup? 
I am assuming.... and you know what that means right? That this is a process and doesn't come out of the Timesheet menu item. From the description it looks like a process, when the resource clicks submit the process fires and sends the "approval" to anyone on the list of approvers. Which would include you if you have approval rights for all the resources in Clarity. If you don't want to receive the emails... you will need to remove your approval rights (under Resources on the Admin side Your Name>Resource Rights Tab) or look at the process and see if it has the admin listed/hard coded as one of the approvers. Either or both may be the cause.  If not let us know
