3.4 Upgrade path from 3.3.3 ?

Hello,

Tried upgrading my sandbox which is on 3.3.3 to 3.4 - got the following mssage:
 Error: PAM-CMN-1344: Problem applying the upgrade package. Details: You cannot upgrade from version 3.3.3; using this patch.
Obtain the latest upgrade patch and retry.

Will there be an 3.4 upgrade patch which works from PAM 3.3.3 ?

Hello Chris, please consult our online documentation for upgrade path information, it's all there. 3.3.3 is newer than 3.4.0 and cannot be upgraded to 3.4.0. The latest release is 3.4.1 and you can upgrade to 3.4.1 from 3.3.3, see https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/layer7-privileged-access-management/privileged-access-manager/3-4-1/upgrading.html

The next maintenance release will be 3.3.4, which will be newer than 3.4.1. Anyone applying 3.3.4 in the future will have to wait for 3.4.2 to upgrade to a 3.4 release, and so on. This for the most part avoids problems with regressions from upgrading because a given 3.4 maintenance release will include the fixes in 3.3.X maintenance releases published prior to its own release date.
