Thats pretty much needs to be done, also ensure new box has third party software like Tomcat and Java installed and path are correct along with clarity path.

Subject: App Server Replacement
I have a small Dev Clarity environment - 1 APP Server & 1 DB Server - v15-9-2 patch 1
I need to replace the APP server as it is an old physical box which has reached EOL. I have a new virtual Windows Server 2019 as its replacement.
I am now wondering if the approach below will work, or if I should be doing it in a completely different way?
- I have configured the recommended JDK & Tomcat on my new server and also set NIKU_HOME as D:\niku\clarity
- The service account I use or this Dev environment has log on rights to my new server & it is also a member of the admins group on my new server.
- Stopped and disabled all Clarity services on my old server
- Copied the Clarity folder from my old server to my new server (same install path on both servers - D;\niku\clarity)
- Update the bind address in properties.xml from the old server IP address to the new server IP address
- admin general upload-config on new server
- service start all on new server
