  • 1.  Checkpoint R 80.10 transparent login

    Hello experts

I am trying to configure Checkpoint for transparent login, environment is like PAM>>Jump Server >> Checkpoint.

While trying to configure, the Learn tool available does not detect the controls on Checkpoint smartconsole screen for R80.10, further investigation suggested that Checkpoint application is not aligned with the Microsoft standard graphics controls the reason for this, also the dimensions of the Checkpoint application screen have changed.

Can anyone suggest a way out to this, any custom script which can be used to configure transparent login.

    PAM version is 3.4

    Checkpoint smartconsole version is R80.10

    Thanks
    Manish

Hi Manish, This is subject of a currently open support case that is not resolved yet. In general, if controls cannot be used to identify specific fields on a login page, what often works is to just send username and password at the right time, with "<send id="window" username="true"/>" and "<send id="window" password="true"/>" instructions in the transparent login script. You can use the Input Freeze option, <inputfreeze action="enable"/> ... <inputfreeze action="disable"/>, to prevent users from interacting with the application while the script is running.

Thanks Ralph for sharing the document.

We managed to resolve both Checkpoint & VMware in similar configuration approach.
