    Hi Friends,

Am completely new to this "Agent-based JDBC virtualization".

Already referred the CA documents in this link Virtualize JDBC Traffic - DevTest Solutions - 9.1 - CA Technologies Documentation.

Now i know what is what, but don't know how to configure and start the virtualization (from beginning).

Could you please someone help me to start the Agent-based JDBC virtualization in DevTest Portal.

    Hello,

Please follow the steps below. I have added a few links to the documentation for clarification.

A few of these steps (especially #2) can get complicated. So if you need further assistance, please open a support ticket and I can give you personalized help.

    1. Verify the database to be virtualized is supported
    https://docops.ca.com/devtest-solutions/9-1/en/using/using-ca-service-virtualization/using-the-devtest-portal-with-ca-service-virtualization/virtualize-jdbc-traffic

    2. Install the agent in the application
    https://docops.ca.com/devtest-solutions/9-1/en/agents/devtest-java-agent/java-agent-installation/install-the-pure-java-agent

3 Set the agent capture levels
    https://docops.ca.com/devtest-solutions/9-1/en/using/using-ca-continuous-application-insight/configuring-agents/configure-capture-levels

    4. Start the JDBC recorder using Virtualize JDBC Traffic
    5. Exercise the application to capture transactions.
    6. Stop the recorder
    7. Wait 30-60 seconds to allow captured transactions to propagate through the system.
    8. Create Virtual Service (at the bottom of the page).

    Best Regards,
