  • 1.  Device name discovery in multiple domains

    Hi,

We are managing servers of multiple domains with our multi cluster PAM setup. Unfortunately, the name discovery during an automatical discovery scan does only work for the main domain, which we started with.

I am aware, that we would need to add the other DNS servers under Configuration -> Network settings - but how can we add DNS servers for other domains? It seems only to be possible to configure a single domain. Please advise where or how to set up the setting for another domain including DNS servers, so that name discovery works for multiple domains.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Nadja

    Hi Nadja,

You can add two domains into our UI via the section you updated:

PAM UI >> Configuration >> Network >> Network Settings.

Here you can add multiple domains -> IE: broadcom.com ca.com (single space).
Also  don't forget to add the associated DNS Server into the DNS Server List and restart networking for it to be set.

This will update our /etc/resolv.conf to search both domains.
