PPM Task and project end dates

​In PPM 15.4x, is there a way to TURN OFF that ability for a task being entered to have that task end date go  BEYOND the overall project end date?   Can there be a warning pop up or the ability to not let the task be entered if past the project end date?

Unless the overall project end date is changed, any tasks or even allocations should not be allowed to go past it and extend the end date automatically.

I think the way it works is the project finish date is always the finish date of the last task and there is not much a user can do that out of the box.
A custom process could check on save of a task what is the project finish date and if the proposed task finish date is beyond that replace is with the current project finish date or something similar.
