    Hi,

you have missed SRel attribute creation step, Incident's table should have column to keep relation to newly created table.

As Incident is a factory from Request table, you need to open cr factory in wsp and publish SREL attribute refrered to zSub_Category table, then select this attribute as dropdown.

could you provide actual error message or better screenshot of it?

actually I have never seen errors in publishing process...

    Hi..,

I have actually publish one more table during which some error occurred . the error is:-

    Merging schema files...

    wsp_index.sch (10) : parse error on seeing ref in wsp_index.sch  (295)

    ../bop.mac (83) : parse error on seeing ref in wsp_schema.sch  (295)

Output suppressed due to 2 earlier errors

    AHD04759:schmerge failed

Due to this error, i wouldn't be able to try your solution as schema designer showing this attached error.

    Kindly help me out .

    Regards

    Deepak

    Hello,

Are you using advanced availability? You could get this error if your background and standby servers are out of sync. This can happen if you demote the background to standby, publish changes, then start the background server back up. If you don't use pdm_server_control -v on the first background server after publishing schema changes then old wsp files from the original standby server can replace the new files. If you confirm you use AA then I'll link the kb article I've used to fix this.

This is not the kb article I mentioned above but may still help in resolution.

    Hi,

Actually i have created one table named-zREDB_Doc_Ref in which i have created one column named ref, during publish this i faced this error:-

    Merging schema files...

    wsp_index.sch (10) : parse error on seeing ref in wsp_index.sch  (295)

    ../bop.mac (83) : parse error on seeing ref in wsp_schema.sch  (295)

Output suppressed due to 2 earlier errors

    AHD04759:schmerge failed

Kindly tell me how to delete this column and entire table-zREDB_Doc_Ref.

As it is not published and not created in database. WSP cann't have option of deleting the table.

    Regards

    Deepak

    Hi,

At this point I suggest opening a case with CA Support.  There could be many causes to the error you encounter.
