  • 1.  pdm_wsp not working in 14.1

    Hi,

     

    Am unable to login wsp which keeps on loading, Below is the std log . with the same credentials am able to login in service desk. please help.

    Hello,

     

    The problem you have described appears to be a close match to problem USRD 3268.

    At this point the fix has not been included in any published fixes. If you'd like to get a copy of the test fix, please open a Support ticket, and reference the problem number that Karen pointed out.

    Do you have WSP running on a Windows host?  Or are you trying to run it on the Solaris box directly ?

     

    If you are running it on the Solaris box directly,  when pdm_wsp  is invoked, you get the WSP’s SDM logon screen to login. You provide credentials there and click Login  which starts a Browser on Solaris (Mozilla/firefox etc.,)  which completes the Logon.  Is it possible that the browser is not launching on your end and that’s why the issue?

    Hi Raghu,

     

    Am calling WSP from solaris machine and browser is launched, but it keeps on loading, and not throwing any error.

    Thank you for the new details. This should work.

     

    What Alex and Karen stated earlier might help. Are you using multi-tenancy?

     

    A support case with reference to the above problem and some additional logging to go along side could help:

     

    Switch on tracing:

    pdm_logstat -f session.c trace

    bop_logging BOP-LOGIN -f "/opt/CAisd/log/bop.log" -m 10000000 -n 10 ON

     

    Reproduce the problem:

    Switch off tracing:

    pdm_logstat -f session.c

    bop_logging BOP-LOGIN -f "/opt/CAisd/log/bop.log" -m 10000000 -n 10 OFF

     

    Provide a zip of NX_ROOT/log now to the case.

    Is there same issue in 12.9 or fixed in it... I got confirmation that test fix is not yet released for Non -Windows environment,

    It appears that you do not have multi-tenancy, so the patch may not be of use.

    Hi,

     

    The issue has been raised and support team involved in this.. after disabling the proxy, we are able to get the wsp screen and have kept this in observation..

     

    But Service desk URL is working fine with proxy enabled. Let;s observe and see.
