USS locale variable

Hi team,

 

Right now, in most of our catalog forms we used the "locale" variable.

 

We have a bilingual catalog and dynamic dropdowns needs to display English or French values depending on user locale.

 

 

When we display our forms in USS, the "locale" variable is undefined.

 

We had the same problem when we tried to display our forms in SharePoint with the widget. Probably normal since USS seems to use catalog widgets.

 

 

Is someone aware of a way to bypass this limitation and have access to user locale in USS?

 

Or is there a variable in USS that contains it?

I'm not sure if there's any easy way around this. USS/group/control_panel  URL -> Site Pages ->  and one of those pages there might give you some insight.  

 

Unfortunately we do not have any documentation around customizing USS, so unless someone familiar with USS /Catalog customization is able to throw in some ideas, this will be a tough one
