  • 1.  HOLDED EVENT WERE RELEASED DOING A COLD START.

    Posted Apr 10, 2021 04:52 PM

Good afternoon Community People, how are you?

Today, we did a change control  with our Client to migrate CA-WA-DE R.11.3.2 to R.12.2.

The Client had all the events in HOLD status (HOLD COUNT=1) (about 400 events) and they decided to do a START COLD (start.type=COLD and start.type.level=0) and when they went to the EVENT perspective, the HOLD COUNT of all the events were changed to 0 and the events were released, and they stared to run.

    My questions are:

    1) Is it possible to change the HOLD COUNT from 1 to 0 doing a START COLD (start.type=COLD and start.type.level=0)?

    2) What could have happened in this case?

Please, somebody has an idea about it...?

    Thanks a lot...

    Jesus Ostos.

    Hi,
When you do a cold start level 0, all the count of events are reset.  This is because cold start removes any active workflows and events that will processed.  See this link for more details.
