    Hi All.

When installing CAWADE (12.2) manager on Linux, can I upgrade the tomcat verion installed by default to the upper version?

Is there any problem in WADE operation even when upgrading the tomat version?

What does tomcat do in wade?

    Many thanks

    Hi,
DE does not use or install Tomcat.  Apache Tomcat is installed if you want to use WebServices (SOAP API) or Web Client (Web UI).
It is not recommended to upgrade the Tomcat.

    Thank you,

    Hi,

Any reason why you want to upgrade the tomcat. Tomcat is packaged for Web Client and Web Services to work. These are web applications and require a container to work. The bundled tomcat contains the known vulnerabilities fixed.
