  • 1.  TICKLE Command in CAWLA DE

    Posted Dec 10, 2019 11:57 AM
We noticed a command documented in the Application Command Log for a File Trigger event, when it was triggered. The ID noted for who submitted the command is the Manager name for our Master. Does anyone know how these commands get generated and logged?

This is a new event and it triggered twice on 12/09. At 20:02 when the file was truly received. Then it triggered again at 20:19, even though the file was not received a second time. This is another issue we are investigating, but only the commands log for the 2nd instance has the TICKLE command logged.

Just curious if anyone knows how it manifests.

    Thanks,
    Denise

    Hi,

TICKLE command is an internal command that server runs. It cannot be performed by a user.
Not sure what caused the other problem.

    Hi Kiran,

Yes, we were thinking that it is an internal command and not one allowable, like complete, resubmit, etc. But what sort of events activity would cause the Server to run that command?

    Hi,

When there is a condition met for a job , server sends this internal command TICKLE command. Mostly for jobs when its state is changed.
