  • 1.  Correct Way to Uninstall CLI on Unix

I'm looking for the correct way to remove the CLI on a Unix agent. Do you run something or simply delete the CLI directory? I've found documentation for installing the CLI but can't seem to find one for removing it.

    Hi,

Is this the CA WA DE CLI?

You can just delete the CLI install directory. Everything that is installed is inside the directory.  You can just delete the directory and it will be removed.

It is the CLI standalone installed on a Unix agent of ours.

So, just delete the CLI directory correct?

Thanks Nitin for all the assistance you are providing for us here at Duke.

I have removed the CLI by simply deleting the entire CLI directory. I thought that would be the way to do it, just wanted to be sure

    Hi Travis,

Not a problem.  Happy to help.

The CA Agents don't install CLI.  CLI does come with DE server.  You can however, install standalone CLI with the agent.
