  • 1.  DE Javascript "SubAppl" Built-in Variable

    Hi community!

    I need to send my SubApplication's name as an argument in my job definition, in addition to the jobname and qualifier. These two last parameters were already tested successfully, but I could'nt find a built-in variable to translate the real-time name of subapplication.

    Would someone had this requirement from its customer? It's a very important information for our implementation project.

    Hi,

    If you are using ESP the variable name is "ESPSUBAPPL" and the monitor variable name is "MNSUBAPPL".

     

    Let us know if this is not what you are looking for.

    I'm using CAWA DE R12.... I couldn't find this variable...

    I was wondering that this option could be available in WOB.* built-in variables....

    Hi Thiago,

     

    I checked our programming guide and confirmed with our development team that we don't have a APPL._ variable exposed for subapplication.  Please go ahead and open an idea requesting for this functionality.

    Thank you Pradeepan,

    I will do your suggestion.

    I think that the creation of this variable is supposed to be under WOB's universe, because is in the Job definition that we can create a new subapplication object.
