  • 1.  SQL statement output to spool to file

    I am executing a select statement, but, I want the output to spool to a file in AutoSys 11.3.6 using the Database Plugin.  Please advise.

    Akbar,

    you did read how to create a SQL job, it clearly has the outfile listed as a parameter.

    you need to remove it everytime. unless they fixed that bit.

    Thanks, Steve, would you please give me the link?  I am working out of Reference guide, and there are much examples in there.

    if you have the reference guide it should be right there.. I don't have one handy with me at this time. but its output or spool_destination:

    It looks like, it's destination_file: parameter.

    as i said it was in the book, I just dont have it on hand. I am off assignment at the moment.
