How to create our own custom artifact type for rally?

is it possible to create our own artifact type in rally like defect userstory etc, if yes, then how can we create it?

Hi Akshay,
The only custom artifact types that can be created are portfolio item types which would be parents to other portfolio items.
You can rename the prefixes on many of the artifact types on the workspace setting page if you want to customize that to suit your needs better:
