I wanted to share the latest update regarding the new Rally UI:
What's New & Released:
- [Grid & Collection Pages] Ability to rerank items within hierarchy when grid sorted by rank
- [Grid Pages] Addressed issues with pagination and groupby
- [Team Board] Team Board columns to not change display order when "User Stories (Defects)" field is shown on cards
- [Team Board] FormattedID to not get truncated
- [Discussions] Discussions to not be truncated in pop-over & show newest entry first & and increase grid pagesize
- [Toolbar] Ability to split user story from toolbar
- [Toolbar] Copy Tasks From modal to allow search by work item ID & copy to not be limited to 20 tasks
- [Components] Ensure that creation of associations in our tool is limited to items that user has edit rights to
- [Portfolio Items] Warning indicators to be visible prior to pop-over being opened
- [Capacity Planning] Ability to remove features from capacity plans
Work in flight or upcoming:
- [Components] Improve performance of Predecessor/Successor/Parent picker
- [Grid Pages] ADD CHILD|ADD PEER: Optimize UX flow to add multiple peers or children
- [Grid] Display of Rich Text field on grids and enable wrap/truncate feature for rich text fields
- [Expand All] Discovery work around performant 'expand multiple items' option for the new Iteration Status page
- [User Stories Page] Discovery work to support a similar style of filtering than the old User Stories page
- Additional work is constantly getting evaluated based on customer feedback
