Confirmed this is a defect. If you copy a work item (seen with Stories and Features), the "timer" for time in state for the cards is carried and tracked from the source work item, and not started for the new item.
E.g. F332793 shows 26 weeks, but was created 9 weeks ago (copied). F345874 shows 26 weeks, but was created 3/01 (copied). F332778 shows 26 weeks, but created 1/05 (copied). (time of post 3/04/21)

And SUPPORT believes there are one or more defects related to this. :-\

Thanks. Sorry that I didn't make clear, these time durations are just plain wrong. The work item marked 26 weeks was only created 18 weeks ago. NO WAY has it been in any column > 18 weeks. Similar with others, the duration on the cards exceeds the age of the work item the card is for. :-}
Sounds like "open a support ticket," do not pass GO do not collect $200. ;)

Hi David,
This is referred to as "age of the card" meaning, how long it's been in that column. It might indicate that something is blocked or that there's a bottleneck in your process.
If you want to reset it, you can move it to a different state, back. But if you are tracking cycle time or time-in-state metrics, this would be cheating. :-)

A user is perplexed by the "26 weeks" and "40 weeks" on the bottom of Feature cards on the Portfolio Kanban page. The duration does not correlate with teh Creation Date of the Features, the age of the child User Stories (one has no children). They do not show up as a displayed field for the cards.
The Rally documentation for the page doesn't mention them.
