On the other hand, it would be nice to shift-click a parent and select the visible children. One great scenario is if a feature is moving into a release - you could expand it in a list like Portfolio Items, shift-click to select the feature and stories, and bulk update the Release field for all artifacts at once. Certainly not critical, but it would be a nice addition.

Thanks David
Upon further thought, it's best we don't have hidden items automatically selected as if a further mass edit is made and there are hidden selected items, it could have catastrophic results
Best left alone !! :)
Thanks again
Chas

Hi Chas,
I don't believe that there is in these views. One of the reasons is that we're not actually doing the lookup for those items and what they are until after the node is expanded, so we don't really know what items are under there specifically, just that there are children for that top level item.

Is there a way to select an item at one level and all sub levels get 'selected' for mass edit when the sub-levels are NOT in the view
eg I would like to select the highlighted box and would like all sub levels to get selected (as in desired result)
