The New Look of Rally - additional pages to be upgraded on April 21, 2020

Dear Valued Rally Users,

This is a friendly notification that on Tuesday, April 21 at 5pm MST, the new Rally UI will be applied on the following additional pages:

• Timeboxes
• Tasks
• Defect Suites
• Test Cases
• Test Plan

These pages will match the rest of the updated UI within the application, so you will have a more consistent experience throughout the Rally application.

Please see below for annotated screenshots of the new Rally pages. Unfortunately the screenshots don't load with the proper resolution. You can download the original screenshots here.

there will be no downtime for this release.

You will simply see the new pages and your migrated Saved & Shared Views.

Hi @Niveditha (Nivi) Gadamchetty,

our 'What's New' page has the information about the release including the annotated screenshots.

This page can be accessed from the little 'information' icon next to a user's avatar (top right corner), as well as the in-app deprecation notices that went live last week.

Got it!

 

Also the 'in-app notifications' that you mentioned, why don't I see them in these pages? Is it because I already switched to the new pages? And does it mean, my users should see it?

correct - the in-app notifications are only active for the old pages, so that's why you do not see them.
