Errors on Test Run (Test Suite)

  • 1.  Errors on Test Run (Test Suite)

    We have users reporting an error when going to the test run tab on a test set.  Screen shot attached.  Steps to reproduce, open test set, go to test run tab, get error :)

    Anyone else seeing this?

    We're seeing the error here as well.

    As a work around, you can go into each test case and hit test run and it works, but that's really not ideal!

    Note on that workaround: you have to be sure to assign the correct Test Set when you use Test Run under each Test Case. Really opens up opportunities for user error.

    Good point. This is the screenshot I shared with our users, showing how to start with the Test Set, then select a test case and hit the Test Run screen from there.

    Hi Everyone.

    Apologies for the late response. I can't reproduce this issue. For me, if I create a test set, then go to Test Run, the page comes up fine. Also, if I open a pre-existing TestSet and go to TestRun, also works fine. It seems to work for me both if the TestSet is empty or if populated with test-cases. 

    I'm going to ask our Support team to look at this thread and respond further.

    When I run into an error like this, I open a case at "https://support.broadcom.com/user". I've had good results getting issues resolved that way.

    This issue was reported as a defect and has since been corrected by our Engineering team.
