Project to be open based on my profile - not working

Hi, 

I have a default project in my profile, but when opening Rally, an other project opens as a default and I have to change the view manually.

Has anyone had similar problem and knows how to solve it?

Hi Mari,

The biggest cause I've seen for this one is using a bookmark to access Rally.  The URL includes the project you were in when you created the bookmark as well as the page you were on. And if you had a work item open in a QDP, or had a specific view applied, that's part of the URL too. The default setting is applied if you log in directly to Rally (using just the base URL) OR if you're using SSO, if you log in via SSO directly.

If that's the issue, just create a new bookmark from the project you want to land in. I hope that helps!

Hi @Mari Nummi We have found that if you book mark a page or save it as a favorite, the page and project id get saved in the URL.  I would suggest that you modify the URL to be the generic log in page so that your default project will show up for you​
