  • 1.  Connector - RallyDev to TFS connector initialize issue

    Posted Jul 10, 2018 12:07 PM

    Hello,

I am trying to migrate user stories, task and defects from RallyDev to TFS and we are using the Connector tool to migrate the items.  When, I run the connector from the command line (ca_agile_central2_tfs_connector.rb tfs_config.xml -1)...i am getting this error message  "undefined method `gsub' for true:TrueClass".

Also, we are following the guide line provide in the CA site...Work Item Connector for Microsoft TFS/VSTS Installation and User Guide | CA Agile Central Help

    ca_agile_central2_tfs_connector  version: 4.8.0-11

             cwd: C:/Ruby22-x64/bin

             configs: tfs_config1.xml

             interval: -1

Work Item Connector Hub    version: 1.3.0-40-origin/master

RallyConnection      spoke version: 4.11.0 using rally_api gem version 1.2.1

    Raghu,

I know there is a Support Case for this issue.

The original issue seems to have been addressed by this KB article:

Agile Central: TFS Connector - ERROR : RallyEIF::W - CA Knowledge

If further information becomes available via the support case we'll post it here.

    Hi Raghu,

Indeed this article that Michael provided should help.

You may want to change the Instance in your connector's config file to be as explained in the article. If that didn't resolve it, then please change the config to log level be 'debug', and get us the log file and config file.

    Thanks,

    Sagi

    Cool. Sounds good Raghu.

I think that your Ruby Gems may not be accurate. You may want to check by running a command "gem list" from a commandline prompt from where your connector is.

If you'd like you can send us the version list and it may be we'll need to send you a hot fix.
