What's the roadmap for Flowdock ? It seems nothing is changing ?

@Serina Clark I would also be very interested in learning more about the roadmap for Flowdock, thanks!

@Steve Stolt would love to hear anything you can share on this! :)

Near term we'll be working on an enterprise-level export, a dark (UI) option, and custom icon sizing. We will be working on a longer term roadmap this quarter. More coming soon...

My .02 as an administrator is that the user administration panel is in desperate need of attention. Usability is awful (try finding one user out of ~400 when the user's name starts with a J) and administrators can't delete user accounts (only remove them from flows) so it's incredibly difficult to help users who make a mistake and sign up via email when they should have used their Rally credentials. How about a little love for us subscription admins?

Just being blunt, here... We've found Flowdock to be fairly useless and will stay that way until the Rally integration is deep enough to get into individual discussion posts. Otherwise it's just another Slack (and not as good). In six months I don't see much has been done to move the product. Hard to believe it is on the roadmap at all, despite your assurances @Steve Stolt.

We are an Agile Central shop and just investigating Flowdock.  There are some UX issues that make it a little difficult to explain/adopt.  For instance, how do you search across all of your flows for information? (Search appears to be for the current flow at least in web view.)  Also, the Help is very limited.  Ideally there should be an easy way for end users to search for help via a knowledgebase (or a CA Corporate "Flow" that could be added to their list!).  It seems like a searchable Flow is the perfect tool for sharing knowledge like that.  Why not use the tool for the clients to illustrate its usefulness?  Asking them to go outside to Twitter, a Blog, another company's support tool or a separate community seems like it degrades the perceived value. That is making it a tougher sell for us as we demonstrate to management.

Appreciate the feedback!  There is not currently a way to search all flows for information - as you noted, search is limited to that flow.

We have pulled Flowdock into a new strategic initiative targeting a broad market, extending beyond CA's current reach.  That being said, the roadmap for Flowdock is in flux as we determine the best way to achieve our objectives.  Expect an update on this initiative and the strategic direction of Flowdock in the coming months.  If anyone would like to discuss this further, please contact me directly at AgileSean@ca.com.
