SiteMinder 12.8 startup issue

We are facing issues with SiteMinder 12.8 sp2 startup. After installation of policy server, we added policy store connection, and upon startup of policy server, the service automatically stops with below error: 

LDAP error doing LDAP RootConfig_save in policy store failed operation search for object type domain
LDAP error doing domain_search: 32 No such object

Any idea what could be wrong here? I suspect the issue is with the policy store but not sure what is the issue. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Harish,

Was the policy store fully initialized prior to the startup attempt?  The data definitions need to be installed (XPSDDInstall) and then the default policy objects imported (XPSImport).  Here is the link to policy store setup section of the installation guide:

Hello Pete, even importing default policy objects throws similar error. 

Policy store failed operation 'Search' for object type 'PropertyCollection' .
