Dear Layer 7 Advanced Authentication customers,
Layer 7 Advanced Authentication team is working on a mobile application that offers the combined functionality of both Mobile OTP and PUSH Notifications. This is an updated version of the CA Mobile Authenticator app that exists today. To support a combined enrollment of both OTP and Push credentials at the same time, a patch to the CA Adapter is required. Enrolling each credential separately is still supported in the new app.
The Beta Testing cycle is currently going on and we have already received valuable feedback. We are open to additional testers during the remaining week of beta testing. The deadline for providing any feedback is
Oct 25th.
All users of the CA Mobile OTP App and the CA Mobile Authenticator App will be affected with the release of the updates to the OTP and the new combined App. All registered accounts on the CA Mobile OTP App will be migrated to the CA Mobile Authenticator App after the both apps upgrade to the latest version, and CA Mobile OTP App will not be in use afterwards. The OTP functionality will be shifted to the hew combined app.
