    Hi There,

Siteminder 12.8.01 supports Oracle JDK and Siteminder 12.8.03 supports AdoptOpenJDK

Planning to upgrade Siteminder 12.8.01 to 12.8.03 to migrate from Oracle JDK to AdoptOpenJDK

Am I need to first upgrade Siteminder 12.8.01 to Siteminder 12.8.03 then install AdoptOpenJDK or while upgrading from Siteminder 12.8.01 to Siteminder 12.8.03 will it give an option to select AdoptOpenJDK ?

Are there any issues / challenges faced during upgrade or after.

Could someone suggest how to proceed please ?

    Regards

    Hi Suresh,

If I recall correctly, you have to install first AdoptOpenJDK, run the
12.8SP3 installer, and it will ask you to set the new JVM.

In case it won't, just edit the ca_ps_env.ksh file (NETE_JRE_ROOT
environment variable on Windows) to set the updated JVM path.

Once set, to avoid confusion, we suggest you to uninstall the former
    JVM.

    I hope this helps,

    Best Regards,
    Patrick
