  • 1.  Unable to create realm in domain

    Hi Team,

We are adding one realm in existing domain. My resource is already protected by some other realm in same domain, now i need to add same url with same resource filter in to that same domain with different realm name. Agent will also same for both.

We tried same but getting error like, Siteminder Administration server Error: Realm must have a unique resource filter for this agent. (Error 36).

Can we add same URL with different realm names in one domain..?
If Yes, then how can we resolve this error.?

    Regards,
    Girish

Why do you need two realms for the same URI when everything is same? It can't be done.

With the resource or URI the same you can use a different agent or agent group and do it.      The Realm name can be the same but is usually different...it counts as a tag or name in siteminder..

But like Sreekanth said if the agent is the same  it will not allow the same resource/URI to be listed/protected as a realm twice.
