  • 1.  How Catch Client/Machine IP of soap request

    Hi Friends,

    I am trying to catch the Client ior the machine IP of the soap request coming from.

    I have tried using ${request.tcp.remoteIP} but this gives me remote IP address not the machine or local IP 

    When I use ${request.http.header.X-Forwarded-For} this says "NULL"

    Kindly help me how to catch the client or local or Machine IP for the soap requests . I am trying requests from soapUI.

    Is this a Layer 7 question or Siteminder question?
    Where do you expect to see client or local or Machine IP? which component log?
