  • 1.  Unable to find user directory while creating policy

    Posted Jun 19, 2020 03:16 PM

    Hi,

We are in the middle of upgrade from 12.52 SP2 to 12.8 SP2 using the same policy store.

    OS : Windows 2016 Standard
    Version  : 12.8 SP2
    Policy store is Oracle 12c

After upgrade we are able to view all the objects and there is no problem in that.

but while creating a New policy under valid domain( which has user directories avaiable ), it throws errors saying "unable to find user directory under the domain"

Can any one provide quick help.

    Thanks,

    Hi Srika

Please execute xpssweaper to remove stable object in policy store.

    https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/layer7-identity-and-access-management/single-sign-on/12-8/administrating/policy-server-tools/xpssweeper.html

After that, you can check the directory and domain information via xpsexplorer from the command line.

When you still have the issue, please turn on SiteMinder policy server trace logs and check it out. It will give better information why it is failed.

    Kind regards

    B.K.
